What is La Box?

Started as a newsletter, Best French Forever is expanding into a subscription box service, bringing the best of Provence to your doorstep at each new season. The products in La Box are hand picked by our founder and Provence native Cynthia Moos, to deliver you the most authentic experience.

What kinds of products are in La Box?

Every quarter, we come up with a seasonal theme to transport you to the heart of Provence. We partner with small local businesses and artisans who take great pride in creating high-quality products that respect long time traditions and the environment. Each seasonal box is a surprise — depending on the season, you can expect beauty and self-care products, home decor objects and textiles, stylish accessories, gourmet food...

How many products will I receive in each box?

You can expect to receive 4-5 products per box, all coming from the South of France and ranging from lifestyle, to beauty to home decor items. While we are proud of the products we select, we believe La Box offers more than that. We work hard to make your unboxing moment an experience that will take you straight to Provence, from the comfort of your home. Be ready for some extra surprises that will delight all your senses…

How much is shipping?

Shipping within the 48 contiguous United States of America is $7.90 and free for any order over $140. We recently started shipping to Hawaii with USPS, and the cost is a flat fee of $14.90.

Do you ship to Canada?

At this point, we only ship our boxes to the U.S.A., but hope to expand to more destinations soon! Make sure to sign up to our newsletter to get the latest updates on our development.

When will I receive my first box?

To limit our environmental footprint, we ship all of our boxes during our shipping window once a quarter. You can expect to receive your box in March, June, September and December.

When do I get charged?

If you subscribe to “La Box, Every 3 Months,” you will be charged at checkout for the first box, then every three months after the first payment. For example, when you subscribe to La Box in May, you’ll be set to receive your first box in June (the next shipping cycle), and will then be charged in August, November, February, etc…

If you choose to subscribe to “A Year of La Box,” you’ll be charged for the full amount of the four boxes at the time of your purchase (at a discounted price).

If you buy one of our year-round gift boxes, you’ll be charged at the time of your purchase.

What if I don’t like a product?

We sure hope you’ll love our selection of items but understand if one of them is not right for you. Unfortunately, we do not accept returns or exchanges, unless a product has been damaged during shipping. Please visit our Terms & Conditions page to learn more. If a product doesn’t suit your taste, we suggest you consider gifting it to your BFF.

Can I cancel my subscription after I receive my first box?

We work hard to make you fall in love with our seasonal boxes and the experience that comes with each of them. But if it’s not the right fit for you, below is the detail about cancellation.

If you would like to cancel your subscription, please be sure to do so before your renewal date since the cancellation cannot be applied retroactively. You can go to your account to cancel or send an email to support@bestfrenchforever.com and we will assist you.

I just moved to a new place, can I update my shipping address before my next box ships?

Yes, please make sure your shipping address is updated in your account. If you plan to move during a shipping cycle (March, June, September or December), please email us at support@bestfrenchforever.com so we can guarantee to ship at the right address.

How are your boxes Earth-friendly?

We are not going to pretend our business is green, because bringing you items from overseas isn’t the most ecological business model there is. We still try to limit our environmental footprint in other ways. We select only products that are made sustainably, we choose recycled and/or recyclable packaging materials and we overall keep the planet top of mind when making operational decisions. We know we are not perfect, but committed to doing our part in protecting our most precious home, la planète Terre!
