About your host, Cynthia

Bonjour ! My name is Cynthia, I’m a Colorado-based entrepreneur, mother, wife and the founder of Best French Forever. I was born and raised in a small village of Provence where I lived for most of my life. It’s only when I moved to the US a decade ago to live with my American lover (now-husband) that I realized how fortunate I had been to grow up in that region.

In 2021, to stay connected with my roots, I launched a subscription box service and custom gift company to bring artisan-made gems from Provence to American Francophiles.

This first venture helped me realize that my real passion is in curating experiences. And that’s what I do today! I curate itineraries for groups of women to discover my home region and learn the principles of the French art de vivre.

As my business evolves, my mission remains the same: to inspire women to live a life they love, by infusing doses of the French lifestyle into their everyday.

I cannot wait to see you find quiet and peace within yourself, and discover the beauty in the simplicity of everyday life.

Pricing

EARLY BIRD (until January 1st, 2026):

$4,990 pp (single occupancy room)

OR $4,190 pp (if room is shared)

After January 1st, 2026:

$5,400 pp (single occupancy room)

OR $4,600 pp (if room is shared)

THIS EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

  • Accommodation for five nights in a privatized estate, single or double occupancy room with air conditioning and attached bathroom

  • All meals on the property prepared by our on-site chef + 2 meals out at restaurants

  • Transportation to and from Avignon TGV train station

  • All creative workshops and activities mentioned in the itinerary (unless noted “extra”)

  • Transportation in an air-conditioned carrier for all excursions off-property

  • A personalized gift curated by Cynthia

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED:

  • Airfare to France and any transportation to pick-up location

  • All meals outside of those planned in the itinerary

  • All additional alcohol (except apéritifs and/or wines explicitly offered by host)

  • Taxis for any excursions you may choose to do on your own

  • All personal purchases made during trip

  • Cost of shipping any goods/purchases back to your country of residence

  • Travel Insurance (including cancellation coverage)

The retreat will run from 3pm on start day through 12pm on departure day, for a total of five nights and days.

Once your application is approved, a 20% non-refundable deposit will be due within two days to confirm your place. The balance of your fee can be made in full or through two payments and no later than 60 days prior to the start of the retreat. All payments including deposit can be paid via card (with transaction fees), Zelle or wire transfer.

I will share all these details once your application is approved.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • In order to guarantee an harmonious experience and meaningful connections between the participants, I ask a few questions via an application then schedule a 30-minute Zoom call with you. This process helps me confirm that the offering aligns with your expectations.

  • Yes, each participant will have their own private room with air-conditioning and attached bathroom, unless you choose to share your room with a friend or loved one.

  • Yes, this retreat has been curated for women. I see it as an opportunity to delve deeper into who we are and what we want out of life and connect with our femininity with the support of other like-minded women.

  • It's not a pre-requisite at all. Based on the participants, the retreat will be mostly in English (so no one feels left out or put on the spot!). I will happily speak/teach some French to those interested, at specific moments of the retreat.

  • I like to make each experience as tailored as possible. So once your application is approved, a 30-minute 1:1 Zoom call is scheduled for me to share more about the itinerary, and to get your input as well.

    Then, closer to the trip, I share with you a detailed itinerary along with a little surprise.

    Each retreat offers a good balance of exploring the region and slowing down at the estate. It will be your decision to join all or some activities, whatever feels good to your soul!

  • We ask for a 20% non-refundable deposit, then you may pay the remaining balance in one or two-time payments. We accept payments via credit card, Zelle or wire.

    We will send the information via email once your application is approved.

  • Your initial 20% deposit is non-refundable as it will help secure the estate.

    If you decide to cancel after the balance is charged but have someone to take your space, we can refund the balance (minus any payment fees that occurred).

    In case of unforeseen events, illness, accidents or travel delays causing you to miss the retreat, we will be unable to refund your payments. That is why we strongly encourage you to get travel insurance with cancellation coverage included.
