Recap of our Lavender Lover Retreat (June 2025)

Our BFF Lavender Lover retreat in Provence wrapped at the end of June, yet the memories we created together still linger…

Memories from our BFF Lavender Lover Retreat in June 2025 in Provence

On our last evening, as we gathered outside under the plane trees, with vin blanc in hand and a delicious carpaccio de courgettes by our local master chef Nadège, I invited our group to share three things about the trip:

What they loved, what they learned, and what made them laugh.

So I thought I’d do the same here with you…

What I loved:

Watching this group of women (most of whom had never met) connect instantly, as if they'd been waiting for this moment all along.

There was ease, there was empathy, there was real joy.

I loved seeing Provence through their eyes. Hearing the gasps of delight at the markets or while walking among rows of lavender. And watching them be fully present during long, slow meals where no one rushed to check their phone.

We made lavender wands, we shared stories, we danced (anyone familiar with the Carolina Shag??).

In a nutshell, this retreat was everything I dreamed of, and more.

What I learned:

When women gather in a space designed for slowness, presence, and beauty… magic happens.

I was reminded once again that we don’t need to do more to be enough. That rest, friendship, and wonder are not indulgences; they are necessities.

And it confirmed that the path I’m on, of gathering women around curated, bonding French experiences, is what I’m meant to do.

What made me laugh:

Where do I start? :)
We had the most fun mother-daughter duo on the trip, who brought so much joie de vivre, jokes, singing, dancing… We all agreed it was a treat to have them!

I also laughed watching everyone get competitive over une partie de pétanque. I wish my dad (an avid pétanque player) was there that day to laugh with (or at) us and give us some helpful pointers…!

These moments of pure, light-hearted connections made me so grateful for this little life of mine.

And... What I'm looking forward to:

In just a few weeks, I’ll be welcoming another group of women to Provence for the Nourish retreat (September 17-22). Different season, different theme, but the same slow, intentional rhythm that lets us breathe deeply, connect meaningfully, and remember who we are beneath the to-do lists.

If you’ve been longing for that kind of space, I’d love to welcome you. There are a few spots left.

Let’s make some magic together!
